Kendra was born and raised in Vermont on unceded Abenaki land. She has a background in Natural History and worked as a project manager and designer for a local landscaping company for many years prior to starting working for Presente! Maine in August of 2023. Kendra is inspired by Presente!’s mission and is excited to now be working with them in a way that combines her passion for plants and growing things, her love of community, and her desire to work in an ethical way. Kendra is a committed anticapitalist and is passionate about food and land access for all. In her free time she loves gardening, fiber arts, printmaking, and reading some of the many unread books on her shelves. Kendra currently lives in Portland with her partner, their cat, and their little dog.
